Ponds Pie Dinner

Ponds Pie dinner is the ultimate winter warmer meal on the bank!

Ingredients Required:

1 x Goblin Pie per person
(they do a meat and gravy pie, or a Steak and Kidney).
1 x Tin of New Potatoes
1 x Tin of Petit Poi & Baby Carrots
4 x Teaspoons of Bisto Gravy Granules

Utensils Required:

1 person you can cook the lot on 1 Coleman Stove. More people, better to use a double burner.

Cooking Directions

Open the lid of the pies to let out excess steam whilst cooking.

Place the pies in a frying pan or wok of clean water, boil gently for 20 minutes.

Drain most of the water off the potatoes, peas and baby carrots, then add to the water around the pie (topping up with extra water if necessary)

Cook for another 7 or 8 minutes to warm the vegetables through properly.

Add the gravy granules to a spare mug or one of the empty vegetable tins, pour over the water
which the veg has just cooked in, stir like a maniac.

Serve the lot up, enjoy with a nice glass of red (Temperanillo goes down a treat) and pray the buzzers don't go off!
