This
mat has justifiably achieved cult status amongst
carp anglers as being the best and safest possible
solution for unooking large carp, so much so that
some companies have even copied it. But they're
still miles behind the original Carp Tech mat!!!
The Carp Cradle features a fully padded base with
drainage holes underneath, which is removable for
drying/cleaning purposes. It also has padded sides
to ensure that new PB won't slip out, and a
retaining flap for if the carp is a little bit
lively. Although seemingly bulky, you can fold the
cradle in half and velcro the flap over one half and
it makes it a lot more manageable.
This
is one item of tackle I just can't do without at the
moment. For travelling fairly light it has room for
everything you could need on a session.
The insulated inner of the bag will take about 5
kilo's of bait. Whilst the zipped pocket on the back
holds a Chub rig wallet perfectly (with room on top
for my alarm remote). There are three other pockets
on the from of the bag, with room for bait pots,
forceps, headtorch and all the other assorted junk I
take!
