Nash Indulgence Wideboy Bedchair

Nash Wideboy Bedchair
Perfect for a good nights sleep
Hat's off to Nash, the company has really come up with a winning product now in the shape of the Nash Wideboy Bedchair.

The Indulgence range of bedchairs received many plaudits when they were first released with the padded mattress section being hailed as a revolution. The release of the Wideboy Bedchair is the icing on the cake.

A good nights sleep is essential for those doing mid-week overnight sessions between work, and with a Wideboy bedchair a good nights sleep is pretty much guaranteed! The wideboy is nearly twice as wide as some "normal" sized bedchairs on the market, giving people of all shapes and sizes the option of finding their most comfortable position to sleep in.

Two smaller people could fit comfortably on the bed, for those who take their partners fishing, or, for those who choose to take their four legged bed hogging friends fishing this bed is a godsend!

Whilst weighing in at a hefty 13.7kg is one of the down sides to the Wideboy, the sleep that you will get using one does offset the extra weight issue (fining down on other luxuries will keep the weight on the barrow the same as with a normal bedchair).

Once in the swim, the four legs give the bed a very sturdy position, helped by its large mud feet, the locking mechanism on the legs is much better than the one used on JRC bedchairs, once a leg is locked it stays locked. The standard setup leaves the bed at a good height off the ground, not so low as to be difficult to get out of, and not too high that seating in low shelters is a problem. It is worth people thinking about purchasing a Wideboy to measure their bivvy/brolly first, as it might not fit in some smaller shelters.

For some reason, Nash have put a phone/alarm remote pocket on the mattress of the bed, whilst this may appear a good idea, once the sleeping bag is on the bed, there is no way you can get anything out again. There is also a small pocket underneath one of the sides, which might be useful for putting keys, phones or remotes in.

All in all, the Wideboy is a great piece of kit, and the sleep you will have on one is incomparable to any other bedchair that I have tried, the Nash Indulgence Wideboy is perfect for a good nights sleep.

Look out for an even stronger version being released soon for the larger carpers!
